Wait, it's what we do
As human beings.
We wait to grow up;
Wait for love;
Wait for the
Right job; Wait
For children.
When will we
Start living
For what we
Have now?
I have the clouds.
The smell of fall.
The love of friends.
The hope of rest.
I have enough.
And will stop
Waiting.

i think matthew's phrasing was quite appropriate when he said (speaking of me) "I think she agrees." Because I do agree. It's an agreement of the mind and the soul, like you struck a chord and a note somewhere in me reverberated to it.
